Fashion design is all about life. You make styles you love come to life. You imagine it, you create it, and you rock it. It’s all about making money doing something you love to do and seeing others wear your design. My future I plan now, is based on fashion. I love to dress up and put my own ideas together, so my future career will be something I love to do and that is become a fashion designer. My career is very interesting to me because is about putting things together that I enjoy doing. I love clothes, shoes, different hair styles and I love all colors. I also love purses and jewelry. It also give me a chance to meet other designers and see things they created. In my project, I will cover, why I cherish fashion design, what it means to me and that it’s not just about the money.
The fashion industry is a product of the modern age. Prior to the mid-19th century, virtually all clothing was handmade for individuals, either as home production or on order from dressmakers and tailors. By the beginning of the 20th century with the rise of new technologies such as the sewing machine, the rise of global capitalism and the development of the factory system of production, and the proliferation of retail outlets such as department stores clothing had increasingly come to be mass-produced in standard sizes and sold at fixed prices. Developed first in American, today it is an international and highly globalized industry, with clothing often designed in one country, manufactured in another, and sold in a third. The fashion industry has long been one of the largest employers in the United States, and it remains so in the 21st century. Most fashions are made from textiles. The partial automation of the spinning and weaving of wool, cotton, and other natural fibers was one of the first accomplishments of the Industrial Revolution in the 18th century. In the 21st century those processes are highly automated and carried out by computer-controlled high-speed machinery. Most famous fashion designers are famous because of the peoples, there fans. In the world that I live in, if a famous person wear a name brand, there fans will buy it and wear it no matter how expensive it is and as they wear it around it become more popular and more peoples see it and start to wear it making the designer of the fashion rich, famous. The texture, the look and more can also make a designer successful as well.

In fashion design, employers usually seek individuals with a 2-year or 4-year degree who are knowledgeable about textiles, fabrics, ornamentation, and fashion trends. Education and training. Fashion designers typically need an associate or a bachelor's degree in fashion design. Launching a career as a Fashion Designer takes equal parts dedication, real-world experience, and the guiding hand of talented industry professionals. Learn hands-on, technical skills such as fashion sketching, creative design, draping, and pattern drafting, along with the theoretical skills necessary to succeed in this incredibly creative and exciting field. Some fashion programs offers job while working with the program, you also can make and sell your products. The program offer fashion shows and video shoots. The goals I have to achieve my career is start sketching things that I would wear together with the different colors and hair design. I will also start practicing on my sewing and drawing skills.
During the day fashion designers Fashion designers study trends and sketch the initial clothing or accessory design. They also attend trade shows or visit manufacturers to select fabrics and trims. Fashion design is filled with creative and fashion-forward thinking, but without the proper work environment, all that creativity gets lost somewhere between the concepts and accomplishment. The median annual wage for fashion designers was $62,860. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $34,110, and the top 10 percent earned more than $126,290. They get paid a median of $23 an hour.
The challenge problem about this career is losing tracks of your thought or getting your space messy. It also will be frustrating if you can’t come up with an idea. This career can also engage you to harm yourself if you not using the utensils correct. In Illinois and in Chicago, fashion design has increase a lot, in fact there are many famous peoples who live and sell their product here. We have the biggest and most creative fashion here. Fashion designers is offered intern jobs for design and fashion. They also is offered creative director photographer, sales person, sale assisted, and architect jobs. I feel like fashion design help the community as a whole because it helps us reuse old materials to make thinks out of. Also some have went to poor countries and taught crocheting, which is a positive thing.
In my conclusion this career is important to me because I love fashion and it gives me a chance to bring old fashion back into style and have my own designer to be worn. Yes this career will be a good one for me making money doing what I love to do.
